Hi Alison,
I was at the talk you gave at the allaboutwritingcourses workshop in Parkview (I completed Jo-Anne Richards and Richard Beynon's creative writing course last year) and I and really appreciated your frankness.
I recently completed my first novel (actually draft 5 of the novel - excluding hundreds of tweeks - and including one thorough overhaul after high level feedback from Richard ). Richard said he thoroughly enjoyed reading it.... but... He and Jo-Anne are always exceptionally kind.
I would like to know how much you would charge to help me get my novel into shape for publishing. I am well aware that I have more chance of winning the Lotto than getting a conventional publishing contract and I will probably have to opt for self publishing; but I still want to produce a professional product.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Marilyn de Villiers
